Just wanted to post a little pictorial memoriam to the late, and truly great Mr. Tony Curtis. My favourite performance of his will always always be his role in Some Like it Hot.

My mission
Welcome to my new personal little film blog. Movies have always played a significant and intricate role in my life. Particularly I have always been drawn to the magic of classic films, even at a young age.
The thing that I just love about them is that there are so many; such a wide variety of extraordinary talent and genres to keep one busy for years soaking it all in.
I feel in my experience, through my own personal time and in school (I majored in film studies, and not the hands-on film studies most complete), I have seen quite a large handful of classic films. However, this is not enough for me. I crave more. I now am taking on a mission to make them an even greater part of my life.
Since I am cancelling the fancy additional package on my cable, and thus sadly giving up Turner Classic Movies (God's gift to classic film lovers), I have to find a way to keep watching. My tool will be the public library which in this city is quite impressive and will allow me to have a massive selection of movies to choose from.
My list is at the side and will be ever growing. I want to watch 1 classic movie per day and record them here, giving my feelings/reflections/reviews.
Lets see how far I get and how long this can go on. I hope you will join me and rethink your new release choice when renting a movie or selecting a movie of the night on television.
